Minting Tomes should be considered a donation, which is reason for the relative high price.
The Tome of Loyalty
Enhance your Undead with the Tome of Loyalty to stand out across the community-made graveyard, earn daily Undead Points simply by holding and receive custom storylines.
Funds will be used towards development, and as support for operational costs such as storage, APIs, artwork, etc.
If none are sold, continue as usual. Some are sold, I can upgrade, and a lot is sold, can do some nice things.
Everything on the platform will ALWAYS be available with UP and through quests.
Direct Unlocked Experience
1. Undead Storyline Reveal
Connect a Tome to 1x Undead to generate an intruging storyline based on the unique traits for your NFTs Loyalty page and enhance the visual identity of the Undead across the platform.
Connect to enter2. Daily Undead Points
Simply by holding 1x Tome you'll automatically earn 10 Undead Points every day, which may be used in the creator tool, for future quests, events or to upgrade the tome itself.
View Tools3. Scout Eyes
Holding a Tome grants access to all data, including top traits from PFP games, NFT community scores for single Undeads, and future locked data content, without the need to spend Undead Points.
View Traits4. Who knows
We're still super early and I'll continue to integrate new features to support the ecosystem and community of Crypto Undeads.
How I'll distribute funds
Longterm Treasury
I'll buy CryptoUndeds (floors / grails) for a Treasury. Just increased incentive to grow UL platform long term and create a supporting mechanism for the Crypto Undeads Collection.
Personal Salary
Salary for myself personally (ohh no, transparency...) to hopefully be able to work full-time, reliably, and consistently.
Artists & Artwork
Ongoing collabs with experienced artists and potentially communities to create high-quality artwork for the creator tool, UL platform and events to come.
Storyline and AI
Direct cost to integrate AI storylines across the Undead Graveyard. Expected costs for GPT-4 stories + DALL-E image creation. This includes storylines, and story cover generation for all 10,000 Undeads.
Whatever to come
New future ideas, implementations, service access, Twitter or 3rd party API costs, platform server upgrades, new awesome tools, more artist artworks, etc. Basically, a reserve.
I'm building features as I get the ideas, so not exactly sure what it will be. We've been around only a months time and the more I build the more I would simply love to be able to work full time.
Overview of actual costs I could implement right now
Twitter Paid API
Upgrade from Free access to Paid to enable direct posting through API connection and track tweets, shills etc. like the GM quest, reshare of official CryptoUndead Tweets to earn points etc.
$125 Per month
OpenAI Storyline generation
10,000 storylines with associated covers through DALL-E.
I've set it up to run 5-7 times to set-up, sort and summarize storylines. Cost equals est. $0.06-0.12 per 1k tokens * ~6 (iterations) * 10,000 = ~$7,200.
Storyline covers costs ~$0.120 per image = $1,200 (without any recreations).
$6,200-10,000 One time approx.
Server upgrade
Upgrade from cheap server to ensure constant quick responses and enable more advanced creator tools.
~$100 Per month
Market API
Upgrade from current API structure to scrape activity of the Undeads more frequently.
~$299 Per month
Matrica API
Remove wallet-connect requirement and instead implement Matrica API to automatically fetch users wallets without the need to connect on UndeadLoyalty.
~$99 Per month
My needed salary
$4,000
Monthly expenses
$603
One time costs
$6,200-10,000
One year dream
Treasury buys
30-40%
12 months salary
- $48,000
Expenses
- $7,476
One time costs
- $10,000
Future yearly cost.
- $55,476
I wanted to do some stuff for the community to have fun in the graveyard, and I'll continue to do that no matter the outcome of the Tomes.
But, I would also like to be able to save larger images, increase server speed, increase update-rate from marketplace data, generate storylines, be able to work full-time etc. which all would have an actual cost in a range I simply don't have the funds to cover.
